The Light, but Rugged Hitch Mount Stowage Option

UWS 2″ hitch mounted cargo carrier is a lightweight hitch-mounted cargo basket that frees up internal space in vehicles, and is a convenient hauling alternative to a roof rack. Connecting directly into an existing 2″ hitch receiver, the cargo carrier creates an instant platform at the rear of vehicles measuring 51″ (l) x 23″ (w), with a 6″ tall side rail and a load capacity of up to 500 lbs. Ultra-easy Installation and Use

Because the UWS hitch mount carrier is welded throughout into a single piece unit, installation and removal literally takes seconds. To install, simply push the unit’s shaft into a vehicle’s existing 2″ hitch receiver, and lock it into place with a hitch pin (sold separately). The unit is also compatible with standard 2″ hitch pin locks (sold separately) that can be used to secure the carrier to a vehicle. Use of a hitch pin lock will also minimize possible rattling of the carrier while in transit. There’s nothing quite like an intense game of hockey. I use a couple of great hook-and-loop cinch straps to hold hockey sticks up out of the way and along the car ceiling. A couple of times I’ve used tie down straps and a small metal platform that slides into the trailer hitch to hold down gear bags. The straps slide around the bags and around the handles and hook into the metal grid of the platform.

There are many types of mobility scooters that are available today. They are designed to make it easier for those who have difficulty walking to go about their everyday tasks. Transportation

Many people use their mobility scooter only around the home, but for some, it is also used and relied upon for many other situations. People use them while going to the store, the park, or even while on vacation at places such as the zoo. In cases where you intend to use your scooter away from the home, you will need to be able to transport your scooter.

There are several options available. Winches and platform lifts are available for your vehicle and are one way to transport a mobility device. Travel scooters typically have fewer features and a smaller range, but can be easily disassembled.
